Suspected political thugs today attacked a member of the Rivers House of Assembly, Hon. Promise Chisom Dike of Oyigbo local government area of the state. The group of hoodlums set the lawmaker’s SUV on fire after allegedly parking his car in front of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP office in Oyigbo.

According to information gathered, the attack was as a result of squabble between the attacked and a group of politicians ahead of the PDP election in the state.

She said:

Later that day, I broke into a rash on my chest, my neck, my face, as though my body were recoiling, as though my body were saying what my lips had not said.
I felt a deep loathing for that man and for what he did. I felt as if I didn’t matter, as if my body existed merely as a thing to be done with as he wanted. Yet, I told no one about it. And I kept talking to him, being polite, hoping he will help with my book.

According to the eyewitness the Lebanese was driving another of his car toward sheriff plaza banex road in Abuja, when he sighted his car parked by the roadside without a driver nor a passenger in the car, he called some of his friends whom in turn called the police, he showed the police Confirmed evidence that proofs he was the owner of the car.

They waited for the driver to come but as of the time of the report no one came to claim the car, the police search the car and brought out an invoice from the boot Which will aid their investigation to track down the driver or the Thief..

The Lebanese Confirmed that the car was stolen for like two years.
