According to the eyewitness the Lebanese was driving another of his car toward sheriff plaza banex road in Abuja, when he sighted his car parked by the roadside without a driver nor a passenger in the car, he called some of his friends whom in turn called the police, he showed the police Confirmed evidence that proofs he was the owner of the car.

They waited for the driver to come but as of the time of the report no one came to claim the car, the police search the car and brought out an invoice from the boot Which will aid their investigation to track down the driver or the Thief..

The Lebanese Confirmed that the car was stolen for like two years.

The police in a statement explained how the mace was recovered and said that “a discreet investigation” into the matter was ongoing.

Thugs suspected to be loyal to the suspended Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial district, Ovie Omo-Agege have invaded the red chambers and forcefully taken away the mace.

They broke into the chambers when plenary was going on, thereby creating serious confusion and tension.

The operation took Sergeant-At-Arms by surprise who tried to reclaim the mace without success.

It could be recalled that Omo-Agege was suspended last week following his role in the electoral act amendment bill seeking to reorder the election sequence.

This development has, hitherto, thrown the Senate, and the entire National Assembly into uproar and fear of what really happened.

The snatched mace is the symbol of authority and the Senate consequently can no longer legitimately hold plenary.

Discussions right now is being held in groups and hush tones as to what might be the next line of action.

This development happened as the Deputy Senate president, Ike Ekweremadu was presiding over the plenary in the absence of the Senate President, senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki is currently at the World Bank event in the United States.

As at the time of filing this report, the situation is hazy and uncertainty looms large.

The reproductive system of a 12-year-old girl, Faith Nwanja, who was allegedly tortured and mutilated by her mistress, Mrs Nkechi Bartholomew for being too stubborn has been seriously damaged.

The revelation was made, yesterday, by the Ebonyi State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, while briefing journalists on the development. Nwanja, was tortured, mutilated and abandoned by Bartholomew.

Bartholomew, a childless woman and seamstress adopted Nwanja and took her to Onitsha, Anambra State, when she was eight years and allegedly disfigured her.



The woman allegedly inserted sticks inside the girl’s private parts which have caused her serious damage to the reproductive system. Nwanja has shocking scars and injuries all over her body, including eyes, mouth, head.

 

She also has bloodied mouth and has lost one of her hands to torture. Briefing journalists yesterday, Head of Department, Child Development of the state Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, Godwin Igwe said the health condition of Faith has worsened.

“The child has been undergoing medical examination by team of expert gynaecologists, a team of orthopaedic doctors, a team of expert opmologists because of serious harm inflicted on her reproductive system, her hand, her ear, her teeth all over.

Last week, her medical examination was concluded and the hospital management said the report will be released to the police as soon as it is demanded”, he said. Igwe accused the state Police command of refusing to arraign the suspect.

NADINNE BRUNA GOES BLIND AFTER EYE SURGERY GOES WRONG

32-year-old Instagram model, Nadinne Bruna, who wanted to light grey eyes instead of hazel, will now have to live with a permanent eye problem as the surgery to change her eye colour went wrong.

The Instagram model who flew to Colombia from Miami for the eye surgery which is not approved in the United States and reportedly costs $3,000, ended up losing 80 per cent of her vision in her right eye and 50 per cent in her left eye.

The Argentinian model began experiencing serious problems after the surgery, in which silicone implants were inserted into her eyes at a discounted price offered on the condition that she posted about it on social media.

Nadinne who returned to Colombia in March and June 2017 for two further procedures to repair the damage but was forced to seek medical attention at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, underwent emergency sight-saving surgery by Ophthalmologists led by Dr Ranya Habash to remove the dangerous implants.

“Before this surgery my eyes were completely healthy. I was so naïve. Ever since this surgery I have had blurry vision. For about a year my eyes were constantly red and itchy. My pupils, they can’t adjust to light anymore so I’m very photosensitive now too.

“This surgery completely f***ed up my life” Nadinne lamented.

“My vision damage is permanent, and I still have to have a cornea transplant and I have cataracts too.”

NADINNE BRUNA BEFORE THE SURGERY

Nadinne said the surgery affected her career as she was unable to participate in photo shoots for her Instagram page, because of the appearance of her eyes.

She said: “My sister became like my mom. She had to do everything for me.

“After this surgery I went into a deep depression. I’m a very strong person, usually very brave and very smart, but with this I was completely stupid. I trusted the wrong person. Now I have the vision of a 90-year-old lady right but I’m hoping I can just keep my glaucoma under control.”

The Instagram model further disclosed that in spite of her eye problems, lots of people are still asking her where they can get the surgery done.

“It’s crazy, because even though I’ve been open about this surgery on Instagram, people are still are asking me where they can do it.

“But I don’t think surgeries are bad. I just didn’t know the risks and I made a mistake by not doing my research. Next month I’m going to have a surgery to reduce my boobs because I’ve lost a lot of weight this year and it’s something I have to do” she said.

Nadinne and her twin sister Danna have made a career on Instagram, where they share images of the cosmetic procedures they have undergone. The twins regularly have their surgeries compensated and are often paid to feature medical practices on their accounts which have more than one million combined followers.
